BIOGRAPHY
Metharia build up their band in 1999 with the purpose to express deep ideals and beliefs (in italian) and showing a different face of the parthenopean music. The actual formation of this band is composed of five elements wich are : Luca Volani ( lead singer ) , Antonio Turco and Giuseppe arena (who perform on lead and rithm guitars) , Ferruccio Milanesi (bass), Francesco Mandolese (drums).Their artistic production is really various and spaces from really melodic armonies to raw energy and powerful songs. Their harmony is both on human and musical fields and it is easy to get that from the way they perform live and in the energy they put in their songs .
The debut of this band comes on the 18th Genuary at “ Notting Hill” in Naples and it is already a success! After about a month from that appearance , Metharia on February partecipate to the festival “ Le Quattro Notti Rock” organized by the club “Velvet” in Naples , winning it . Recently they appeared at a festival organized by the city of Naples for emerging bands , the “VII rassegna musicale pre artisti emergenti” where they got classified at the second place .Since that moment they have played in many clubs and squares and they keep doing that !
